Matchbook ("we", "us") runs onmatchbook.com. This page explains what information we collect through the site, why, and what we do with it.

What we collect

When you fill in our contact form, we receive the name, email address and company name you enter. We don't ask for anything else.

Like most websites, our hosting provider (Cloudflare) automatically processes basic technical data such as your IP address and browser type to deliver the site and protect it from abuse.

We use two analytics tools on this site, described at the bottom of this page. They set cookies.

How we use it

We use your contact details only to reply to your enquiry and, if we end up working together, to communicate with you about that work. We never sell or rent your information.

Who else handles it

Form submissions are delivered to our inbox by our email provider. Booking a call takes you to Google Calendar, which is covered by Google's own privacy policy. These providers only process your information to deliver their service to us.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry emails for as long as they're useful for our conversation with you, and delete them when they're no longer needed or when you ask us to.

Your choices

You can ask us to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you at any time by emailing [email protected].

Analytics and visitor tracking

Two third-party tools run on this website. Both set cookies and both start working as soon as a page loads.

Microsoft Clarity records how people use the site: pages viewed, clicks, scrolling and mouse movement. These sessions can be replayed as a recording so we can see where the site confuses people. Clarity's default settings hide the text typed into form fields. Microsoft processes this data under its own privacy statement.

Lead Onion (a Zymplify Limited brand, privacy policy) looks up the organisation associated with a visitor's IP address and records which pages were viewed, so we can see which companies have looked at the site. It is a business tool, not an advertising network, and we do not use it to serve ads to you.

If you would rather not be included, most browsers can block these scripts through privacy settings or an extension, and the site works normally without them. You can also email [email protected] and we will remove any record we hold about your visit.
